Limit Junk Food To Be More Productive

Think of your body as an unleaded car. If you were to fuel your body with leaded petrol, what would happen? You'd barely be able to function properly, let alone move off. Similarly, our bodies react the same way with food and drinks.

We need healthy green food. Not necessarily grass(eww) but stuff that is grown a naturally and not genetically modifies or processed. To be honest, you don't necessarily need to be very strict on calorie consumption. Provided you eat food that has a fair amount of protein, carbohydrates and essential fats, you're in the pocket.

See, most of us are looking for that burst of energy at 2 intervals, mid morning and mid afternoon. At these 2 particular times, our energy levels crash and burn - so we fuel up on coffee and high energy drinks. Bad Move!

Any caffeinated drink is way more caffeine than you need, even coffee. These are temporary boosters. Since we don't eat or use the right kind of fuel, we think a dose of caffeine gets our engine roaring but when this small boost dies, there isn't any fuel to keep us going at a steady speed.

Now combine your caffeine spike with unhealthy, greasy junk food? Trust me when I say this, your inside is going through a complete trauma. The energy that should be spent fueling your mind and body is spent on just digestion! Can you believe that?

Instead of your meal providing you with more energy, it used up a hell of a lot more instead. Pointless!

With the right food, your body can function at a 100% without energy dips, hunger pangs or unwanted mood swings.

Ask Yourself 3 Questions The Next Time You're Hungry:
  1. Is this meal processed or not? The more natural grown stuff on your plate the better.
  2. Does it have enough protein, carbs and essential fats? If it's in perfect proportion to what your body needs, I promise you'll become a total ninja at productivity.
  3. Do I find it tasty? Healthy food can be delicious, so choose stuff that you enjoy. Heck, you could have a burger that's made from fresh, healthy, non processed ingredients!
And that is the end of this quick but informative article on leveling up your productivity naturally. Like anything, the more often you make healthier choices, the greater the results.
